BMP International Inc. is a veteran in the HVAC industry.  Beginning in the early 90’s, our sister company began to provide AC components – ranging from contactors and capacitors, to many other components and tools - to the two largest AC manufacturers in the US.  From those components, the business grew to provide a wide range of AC supplies to several of the largest HVAC manufacturers and distributors in the US.  Thus, AC contractors and technicians have actually been using our products for years.  They just hadn’t seen our name yet.  Then, in 2004, we decided to market our own brand under the name BMP – a name derived from our founder Mr. Ben Meng.  

Mr. Ben Meng graduated from one of the top three Universities in China, Nanjing University. 

In 1993, Ben was employed with Jiangsu Publication Import and Export Corp, in the new business division, where he worked closely with major clients Wal-Mart and K-Mart.  Later, he was involved in the development and export of various AC components to major manufacturers, Carrier and Trane.  From these early experiences in product development, export and the HVAC industry, Ben had developed a unique knowledge base that allowed him to become involved in the export of AC components and tools to well-known HVAC industry leaders in the US market. 

In 1996, Ben decided to move to the US where he opened his own Air-conditioning business in the Tampa/St. Pete area of Florida.  He doubled is business every year and grew to 11 employees within 3 years.  Combining his latest experience in the US market with his earlier experience while in China, Ben saw many ways to make tasks both easier and less costly for the AC technician.  Thus, he began his own development of new tools and tool innovations for the HVAC industry.  

In addition to his experience and knowledge in the areas of export, product development and the HVAC industry in particular, Ben is also a seasoned real estate investor.   Ben is truly and innovative person who is making significant contributions to the HVAC industry.  When he is not developing new products he especially enjoys outdoor activities in the mountain and forest, and most important, spending time with his wife and young son.
